What to expect;
•Explore the history of Japanese knives.
•Learning sharpen your knife with basic technique to be able to maintain your knife for everyday use.
•Learning advanced sharpening techniques or someone who has no experience but wants to learn intensively. (Deep Dive course is recommended)
•No experience necessary.
Knife sharpening is a precise craft that requires careful attention. By listening closely to the blade’s sound, you can tell when the sharpening is flawless. This level of perfection cannot be achieved by machines but only through manual sharpening on a stone, engaging all your senses—hearing, sight, and touch.
We teach you how to sharpen knives by combining sensory awareness with expert techniques drawn from our extensive knowledge and experience.
Led by a skilled instructor, you'll discover the joy of knife sharpening.
90 minutes lesson
Fee: Lesson fee $190 (include sharpening stone)
What to bring: Apron, towel(s), your sharpening stone if you have (optional), your knife(chef's knife(up to 8"), santoku knife or petty knife)

Deep Dive
Fee: Lesson fee $320 (Include sharpening stone)
What to bring: Apron, towel(s), your 2 knives(Please includes chef knife), bring your sharpening stone if you have(optional).
