* U.S. Customers - We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, JCB, American Express and US money orders.
* International Customers - PayPal or Credit Card mentioned above. Please contact us at shop@hitachiya usa.com for PayPal method.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
International customers may order online with Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express or Discover. But PayPal will be ideal. Due to the verification purposes for the international credit card, you will be contacted to provide more details before we can proceed with the order. Under rare circumstances we can only accept wire transfers for payments and will be contacted to provide more details before we can proceed with the order. 

* For orders that exceed the USPS weight limit, a customer service representative will calculate the shipping cost and contact you before your order is processed.

 

CUSTOMS FEES

When ordering from hitachiyausa.com you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all the laws and requirements of the country in which you are receiving the items. Your orders may be subject to import duties and/or taxes and any additional charges for custom clearance must be borne by you. HITACHIYA USA has no control over these charges and does not assume responsibility for the ordered goods meeting local customs laws and/or duties and taxes. Custom policies vary widely from country to country, and you should contact your local customs office for further information.

When you press “Proceed to Checkout” to place your order, this assumes you have accepted the responsibility for the import duties and/or tax, additional charge and Import Trade Declaration for custom clearance. If you have not been able to complete this statement of the aforementioned and the package is subsequently returned to HITACHIYA USA, you will be responsible for the return shipping charge.

We try our best with our products, however if you find any damages or preference for other products please contact us within 7days at 310-534-3136 or shop@hitachiyausa.com from the day you received order item/items.  Placing an order indicates your acceptance of our return policy.

**If you find any damaged box please keep the damaged box till the carrier pick up your damaged items with box.**

•    No exchanges or returns will be accepted without receipt.
•    Merchandise can only be returned or exchanged if it is in its original     
     packaging and condition.
•    If upon return, items are found to be damaged, they will not be accepted or credited.

•    Knives sharpened at customer's request, left hand converted, engraved, used or special custom 
     ordered are not eligible for return or exchange
•    Special orders are not eligible for return or exchange.
•    HITACHIYA USA does not accept returns, exchanges or refunds of any used items and damaged items.

•   All sheath sales are final, no refundable and no exchange.

•   Any discount items are no refundable and no exchange.

•    Customer is responsible for return shipping charges.  
•    Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping
      will be deducted from your refund.
•   Cancellation fee(up to 20% of product price)  may be applied after you completed  check out.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

If upon return for the customer's request, the refund will be store credit.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at shop@hitachiyausa.com and send your item to: 2509 Pacific Coast Hwy Torrance California US 90505.
